Hi!
The creation of this blog has been something that I have considered and debated over and over within my head numerous times over the past years.
Should I do it? Shouldn't I do it?....
Now it's a surprisingly warm evening in England and sitting on my couch with the company of the Marvel Avengers by my side I've decided that tonight is the night my blog will finally be born- I'm going to go for it.
You see, I've often debated about whether reporting my previous and ongoing story could be of any use or interest to individuals on the internet- After all no one wants to listen to a teenage girl ramble on about how much pain or discomfort she's experiencing, surely?
Then I consider how my journey has been and realise that one of the biggest struggles I face living with fibromyalgia is the stigma surrounding an invisible condition, despite it being common people often understand or know very little about fibromyalgia.
Sure, I understand that it could be pretty dismal reading about someone's pain however, it is important to remember that although chronic pain can be a struggle it shouldn't hold anyone back from achieving their dream and living life to its fullest. It's not all negative, in fact it's motivated me in many ways.
So a mantra I live by?
As quoted in the song 'Every Storm' by Gary Allan,
'Every Storm runs out of rain, every dark night turns into day'
So don't worry,
There are abundances of highs amongst the few lows but I intend to blog honestly about each and every one of them,
Goodbye for now! xo
